For over a hundred years the well on my family farm in Scurry County pumped water for orchards & gardens. Then our neighbor began selling water from his well to frackers. Following that, our well began drying up & now (as of November 2011) we no longer have any ground water whatsoever. Not only that, but fumes regularly drift over from frack ponds located 3 miles south of us & the list of symptoms we’re experiencing grows & grows. In short, our farm is becoming uninhabitable due to nearby fracking activity.
